babydoll asked:

I am preparing my taxes but it is not giving me an option after I press efile to get my fees deducted from my refund. I know you are able to do this but it is not letting me, does anyone know how to do it?
I ordered the audit defense, would this have anything to do with that?

If it’s not presenting that option then it’s not available to you. Bear in mind that that is a major rip-off. Tax Cut charges you $30 to deduct a $20 filing fee from your refund. Apparently Turbo Tax is not as willing to rip you off as Tax Cut is. You’ll need to put it on a credit card or print out the return and mail it in.

Another option would be to go through the IRS Free E-File link on their home page. If your income is less than $54,000 you can e-file for free there.

If you have a debit or credit card you should pay for it out of that they charge you 29.95 to have them deduct it. If you do not have your own credit/debit card you can you someone elses. My friend had to use mine so I know it will allow you to use someone elses.
