fees deducted from refund = paper check in the mail !

Did you check the IRS rebate status page yet? Here is the link:
They update it on the week that you are suppose to receive your rebate. Maybe your check is getting mailed at a later date instead of being direct deposited.

We are in the same boat as you. We did everything correctly to get ours dir. dep. and it was suppossed to be last friday also. I called irs and only get a recording, and checked the irs website under wheres my stimulus rebate and aftering checking there for sev. days the irs website says i will get mine tomorrow. No explanation for the one week holdup. But I heard this morning on the news that irs computer glitch caused them to direct deposit 15 thousand rebates to the wrong bank accounts. That is all i have heard. And I suspect that may be why yours was delayed also. Have you checked the link yet? Maybe there is an update for yours.

At first I was suppose to have my direct deposited on the 9th, now it says the 16th. I think they just continue to change it.
