If so…… When did you file, how did you file (efile or mail), Direct deposit or check mailed and when did you get your refund back?

Just wondering…….. Thanks for answering

    Not yet.

I’m still waiting to receive all the info I need…

I usually go to HR Block to have them do it as they are a little complicated with all the stuff I have going on.

I usually have them do an electronic filing and I’m sent a check

Nope, not yet, but when I do it will go efile and my refund will come back as a direct deposit…last yr. when i did that, the refund was in my account in 3 wks.

I wait until the last day and try to keep it to pay in less than $100-300 each year.

    Why?

Well, if I get a refund, it means I paid in too much all year long, and our loving government gets to use that money tax free and not pay me any interest. Thanks!

At the same time, I paper file so that it takes longer to process, and mail a check, so that takes longer to get there, and longer for them to receive and deposit. Usually, 7-10 days before its cashed.

They waste my tax dollars every day….why should I be in any hurry to get the rest to them?

If you get back a large check, guess what? Washington got to party on your money interest free all year and not pay you one penny of interest on all that money that you paid in too much of to get a check back…

That check wasn’t a gift, it was the return of your overpaid money that they already spent. They are like children, and can’t be trusted with that kind of money….stop giving them advances on their allowance!!! They get my paper return and my paper check on the very last day I have to send it!
