My husbands stimulus was sent to the wrong address and we want to know if it is too late to recieve it. That if it goes back to the IRS they get the change reported and send it again after information is updated.

You should report your change of address to the IRS on form 8822. Yes, they’ll resend it when they have your new address.

The check is returned to IRS, IRS will search for a new address if no new address is found, it will sit on your account for awhile. You need to call IRS at 1-800-829-1954 and change your address, they will be able to let you know if the rebate was sent back to them.
When you change address you must notify the IRS by filing form 8822 Change of Address with the IRS.
Government mail is not forwarded, even if you have a change of address with the post office.
Or you could try calling IRS at 1-800-829-1040 either line you must be patient because they are very busy, with stimulus calls, and undelivered refunds/rebates.
