My ex filed his taxes by April 15th and he already received the letter stating that they would be intercepting it. How long does it take before I get that money?
he owes over 21K in arrears for child support. This is why they intercepted the money
who do I call???

It often takes a few months.

The money doesn’t go directly from the IRS to you. It gets sent first to an agency in your state which reported the order requiring the refund to be intercepted. As a result, the timing varies by state and often involves a delay of as long as few months.

Sorry to hear about your tricky situation with your tax refund. The IRS makes it possible to check on the status of your refund online.
Take a look at this article:
How to Check the Status of Your Federal Tax Refund
It explains how to check the status of your refund, and the information you’ll need, etc. Hopefully, that will get you on the right track.
All the best.
