By the time the people actually get these so called refunds, it will be too late. Too little, too late as they say. Furthermore, it just adds to the massive debt this Country has.

Bush does not have the power to enact a tax refund…only Congress can do this. Unfortunately, it will not stimulate the economy as most people will end up using it to pay of credit card and home loans. This is paying off money that is already spent and will do nothing to boost the economy.

Supposedly it’s supposed to increase spending and stimulate the economy

I voted for Bush for conservative judges. McCain killed that. Now Bush is trying to out liberal the liberals. I guess he never learned that you dance with the date that took you to the prom.

I think it is a joke, what is it everybody’s Birthday? Their should be a freeze on escalating interest rates for people who may loose their homes due to rate increases, mid price and lower homes.
Giving everyone $$ we don’t have is completely irresponsible.

He can’t buy my love, but I’ll enjoy the rebate. Still, with the deficit growing every day, I guess money grows on Chinese trees. If they’re not worried about the 9 trillion dollar debt, why should I? Maybe in the future when the money is paid back, a trillion $ will be like a million$ today.

Like before, it’s a bribe to get better ratings from stupid people who are grateful or impressed by it.

Dumba** quick fix like everything America does without thinking about the consequences. We’re already in a heap of debt with a dollar worth nothing. So import wise what can that money really get you? By the time we get it the imported prices will have gone up coinciding with the dollars drop.
Fruitless effort. I’ll just pay down my personal debt and ride out the depression like most smart folks

If they want to help the tax-payers who el;ected them in to represent us, they wouldn’t have given away jobs, have mass illegal people from many places walk in(while ‘clamp down on terroristsby spying on citizens) and among other not take the chance to pop the housing bubble before it hit us.
With all their ‘think-tanks’ who’s best interest are they focused on?

Spend the money wisely, as this is your Social Security money…Bush already has mortgaged our future with his occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq.
However, throwing a bone to a starving dog will not make him any less hungry…

It’s a bunch of crap in my opinion. Just a way to boost the horrible economy I suppose. And for the record, Bush still ****** as a president. He sent our troops to be killed for nothing.
