I moved around a lot so I don’t know if it got lost in the mail or something like that. Is there a way I can check? Who should I contact? Anything?

Just contact the IRS. They have a web site. It may be too late. I am not sure.

Go online to and click on where’s my refund. If there is nothing there, call 1-800-829-1040

Just call the IRS and tell them you never got the check. They’ll reissue a new one, and cancel the old. No biggie. They may have to mail you a short form to fill out and return, and it will take about 90 days to get your check once you mail them the form.

It’s not too late. Contact the IRS by phone or go to your local IRS office. They will verify your situation and tell you how to proceed.

I lost my check once called the IRS and they sent a form for me to fill out. It didn’t take too long for the refund to show up in my mailbox (say about one-three weeks).

all you do is contact the IRS and don’t wait too long there may be statutes of limitations on refunds, who knows?

Tell them your situation that you moved around a lot, your last known address and that you never received your refund. they’ll send that form for you to fill out.

I work for Jackson Hewitt and the most common reason people do not receive their refund is because they have a lean. They either owe child support or back taxes. If you went through a tax agency like Jackson Hewitt or HR Block and recieved one of our loans then you might want to refer to the office where you filled your taxes. If your check was supposed to be mailed or direct deposited from the IRS then you should contact the IRS immediately to see what had happened to your money!

Contact those IRS people. If they owe you money, think about it this, your refund is money that they are making money on. You are giving them money that they invest to make money, yet you don’t get any of that! If you don’t pay them, they penalize you and you have to pay them interest….money hungry bastids. they got it figured out…..Protest….we have the right to disagree! It’s like giving someone an interest free loan….get your money!
