When can I expect to receive my child tax refund check in the mail?

I know the news said those who received their regular tax refund via direct deposit would get the child tax refund that way also — has anyone received it yet either via direct depost or regular mail?
I beleive it is actually called an economic stimulus check or payment — (I’ve already rec’d my tax refund check). Has anyone received theirs yet via regular mail??

Child tax refund? Are you talking about the stimulus payment? The child tax credit is part of your normal tax return, and if you are getting a refund then, will be with your regular refund. The stimulus payments started a couple weeks ago, and millions of people have gotten theirs, but that’s only a small portion of the total number who will.

There is no child tax refund. There is an economic stimulus payment that may include extra $$ if you have a qualified child. Most mailed payments start May 16th…although some appeared to have already gone out.
