How long does it take to receive your tax refund after it is said to be sent?

You live in SC your check is probably coming from Atlanta ,GA. you should see in within 7 to 10 days of them mailing it, Its in the Post Offices hands, you could see it as early as Monday or not until Friday

You may contact the the IRS tax refund line and find the date your refund was mailed. You can expect to receive you tax return with 7 to 10 business days from the date the refund was mailed.
You may also go to IRS website and click Where is my refund ? to find the status of your refund (additional information will be needed… SSN, filing status, amount of refund. The old traditional way is to contact them by phone 1 800 829 4477.
