Alicia H asked:

I e-filed through turbo tax for direct deposit. Does this make me fall into the group of people receiving theirs by May 9th? I wasnt sure if there was a difference between e-filing through turbo tax and the IRS website.

It depends upon the last 2 digits of your social security number.

See the schedule of dates at the IRS website:

Yahoo Answers is having issues with allowing me to post the website address as a link. It’s www-dot-IRS-dot-GOV

Click on Where’s my stimulus payment and then click on Payment Schedule.

I don’t think it’ll have anything to do with WHEN you filed…

No difference- if your last 2 digits of s.s. # of primary (first) filer are between 00-20 it will hit your bank tomorrow. IRS has updated their website today- you can now go to Where ‘s my stimulas check. If it is going out tomorrow it shows. Next weeks are not yet loaded.
