I am a 21 year old college student who made $7,000 in 2007. My parents claim me as dependent on them when they file the taxes. Am I still eligible to receive an IRS stimulus tax return?

Since they claimed you, you WILL NOT receive any money. And since you are over 18, even though they claimed you, they will not receive money either.

If someone else can claim you…no.
You’re eligible if you have a valid Social Security Number (SSN), can’t be claimed as a dependent on a tax return and have either an income tax liability or qualifying income of at least $3,000.

No, dependents aren’t eligible.
