I beleive it is actually called an economic stimulus check or payment — (I’ve already rec’d my tax refund check). Has anyone received theirs yet via regular mail??

Now I read that the IRS generally won’t do that unless its a joint return or other reasons and I am wondering what will happen now. Will they send me a check or some kind of letter saying it couldn’t be deposited into an account that is not my own? CRAP! And how much longer of a wait are we talking here?
Okay so we went and added me to his it should be all gravy and hopefully I will get it Friday since supposedly they only do DD’S on that day and I am supposed to have it by Feb 6th, which is this coming Tuesday Thanks all

I filed my taxes on friday however turbo tax told me they were waiting to process until feb 11th due to this tax relief….does this mean my add’l 600.00 from bush will be added to my tax money I am already getting back by direct deposit??? Or are they going to be mailed???
I dont care to hear what people think about this whole tax relief thing I just want to know if anyone knows how it is going to be sent.

According to the IRS website, anyone who filed their taxes and recieved a refund via direct deposit should have received thier stimulus payment the same way – through direct deposit – no later than today, May 16. I didnt receive mine – has anyone? It seems many have not – why not?

My wife and I filed our income tax electronically and were supposed to recieve our stimulus refund by the 18th of May.
We filed jointly and have a 22 year old daughter in college
listed as a dependant.
That means we should be getting $1200 (for my wife and I) plus $300 for our daughter.
Instead on the 16th of May I got a direct deposit from them of only $600.

How can I contact them to get the rest that we are due?
